Medium & High Voltage Filter Bank

SDrHMT high-voltage filtering complete sets are installed in parallel on 6kV, 10kV, 35kV and 110kV buses containing harmonics. Single tuned filters or high-pass filters are switched according to the harmonic content or reactive power requirements of the buses to provide low impedance channels for harmonic voltages and currents, so as to reduce harmonic currents flowing into the system, provide fundamental reactive power at the same time, improve voltage quality, increase bus power factor and reduce line loss.

Main application
SDrHMT high-voltage filtering complete sets are installed in parallel on 6kV, 10kV, 35kV and 110kV buses containing harmonics. Single tuned filters or high-pass filters are switched according to the harmonic content or reactive power requirements of the buses to provide low impedance channels for harmonic voltages and currents, so as to reduce harmonic currents flowing into the system, provide fundamental reactive power at the same time, improve voltage quality, increase bus power factor and reduce line loss.

 

Application areas

Large-scale industrial rectifier equipment, electrolytic tank, electroplating tank, rolling mill, electric arc furnace, intermediate frequency furnace, frequency converter, soft starter and other loads, commercial and civil fields such as energy-saving lamps, gas lamps, frequency conversion air conditioners, computers, refrigerators and other equipment, all produce a large number of harmonics. These nonlinear loads produce a large number of higher harmonics into the power grid during operation, causing distortion of the power grid waveform and deterioration of the power grid quality, and threaten the safe operation of other electrical equipment in the power supply system. This "power pollution" of power grid pollution can cause additional losses in transformers, cables and other power devices; it can also cause abnormal functions of control, protection and measurement systems, and communication and networks are also disturbed.

SDrHMT series high-voltage passive filter compensation device is a method to solve the voltage and current distortion. The device is mainly used for harmonic control and reactive power compensation. It not only makes the harmonic voltage distortion rate of the system and the harmonic current flowing into the power grid meet the requirements of national standards, but also improves the power factor to achieve the dual purposes of governance and energy saving.

Design

 

  • According to the system impedance, power and harmonic parameters, the computer simulation software is used to simulate and design, and the reasonable filter branch (3 times, 5 times, 7 times, 11 times) and installation capacity are determined to ensure the superior and reliable scheme;
  • The filter capacitor is full-film insulating medium, which has the characteristics of small size, low loss, low operating temperature and strong overload capacity;
  • The filter reactor adopts single-phase air-core reactor, the reactance value is continuously adjustable within ± 5%, and the operation noise is low;
  • The resistor adopts non-inductive or micro-inductive resistance, and the resistance value is adjustable to ensure the accuracy of the tuning point and the filtering effect;
  • The complete set of device is equipped with live display and electromagnetic composition forced locking link to ensure the safety of operators;
  • For the occasion of high power factor and large harmonic current, a reactor connected in parallel with the filter capacitor can be added to form a high-order LC loop, so that the power frequency current is close to zero, and at the same time, it still presents low impedance at the high harmonic frequency, so as to realize the "zero reactive power" filtering function;
  • The structure of the complete device is flexible, with frame type and cabinet type, and can be designed according to the actual site of the user;
